Market Desk (online): A teacher has been accused of thrashing student to death for spelling mistakes. In this incident, the Indian police have launched a search to arrest the accused teacher. In a report, Al Jazeera, a Qatar-based media outlet has given such information.
The boy, who was a student at a school in Achalda area in the district, was admitted to the SaifaiMedical College Hospital around a fortnight back with alleged serious injuries. He succumbed to his injuries on Monday. The student’s family members confirmed.
The victim’s father said in the police complaint that his son Nikhil had spelled Social (in English) incorrectly in an exam earlier this month. For this, the accused teacher beat and kicked his son with a rod until he lost consciousness.
Then the 15-year student was admitted to a hospital in MP in India. He died yesterday Monday. The accused teacher fled after hearing this news.
“The accused teacher is absconding but we will arrest him soon,” police officer Mahendra PratapSingh told.
The family members said that the teacher had beaten Nikhil a few weeks ago too for spelling mistakes.
