Shah Rukh Khan is the co-owner of Knight Riders Group. Their team name in the CPL is Trinbago Knight Riders. This time they have also taken initiative to build a cricket stadium in the US. Plans are afoot to build a stadium in Southern California.
The 10,000-seat stadium is located 40 miles southeast of Los Angeles.
USA Cricket is expected to bid for future men’s and women’s World Cup tournaments, with the 2024 Men’s T20 World Cup already set to be co-hosted by the US and West Indies. The ICC is bidding for the inclusion of cricket in the 2028 Olympic Games to be held in LA, if successful. The stadium at Great Park is expected to be a centerpiece venue for the event in Southern California.
