Market Desk online: Bangladesh contingent will have as many as 35 personnel travelling to New Zealand for their series of two Tests and three T20I in December-January.
This will be Bangladesh’s second tour of New Zealand this year after they played three ODIs and three T20Is in March-April.
The New Zealand government has updated about Managed Isolation and Quarantine (MIQ) where they secured spots for men’s teams from Bangladesh, Netherlands and South Africa and eight participating teams for the 2022 Women’s World Cup.
Bangladesh, Netherlands and South Africa all can carry 35 people for respective tours. 181 MIQ slots have been booked for the Women’s World Cup. Inbound teams will need to quarantine for 14 days.
Bangladesh’s series against Pakistan will end on December 8 with the second Test accordingly.
Netherlands will play three Super League ODI in March with South Africa scheduled to play two Tests and three T20I in February-March.
India men were also scheduled for three ODIs in the 2021-22 seasons but they have not been included on the MIQ list. The series could be staged at the end of 2022.
