The era of global boiling has arrived, says UN boss

Market Desk (online): The era of global warming has ended; the era of global boiling has arrived. So said United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres in a speech Thursday at the UN headquarters in New York City. He focused on new data released from the EU and the WTO, declaring July is set to be the hottest month on record.

And there is no other way but to take it seriously. He was not only the climate chief of the United Nations, but also served on climate issues at NASA, the White House of the United States President, the Department of the Environment of the United Kingdom. Bob is considered one of the world’s leading scientists on climate and environmental issues.

Besides him, Lord Stern, chairman of the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment, who was present during the interview on the BBC, also agreed with his views.

However, if the rate of global temperature increase is kept at 1.5 degrees Celsius, the United Nations Climate Body says that 10 million people’s habitats will be saved from the problem of sea surface warming. Coral reef damage will be reduced by 70 to 99 percent.

And Bob spoke as global climate change warned of high temperatures across Europe. Authorities are struggling to deal with the wildfires in Greece. The condition of China and the United States is also bad in summer.
