Market Desk (online): The Middle Eastern country UAE has implemented a 3-day holiday a week. The Saudi government plans to walk that way.
The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development in Saudi Arabia said that the authorities are considering the possibility of a 3-day weekend system in the kingdom.
The UAE is the first country in the Middle East to implement the 2-and-half-day, and 3-day weekend in the emirate of Sharjah. The UAE Government adopted the new system from Jan1, 2022.
In addition, Oman is also working on a 3-day holiday plan in a week, according to the country’s Ministry of Labor.
